Ah, babies… they’re just so fun to dress up. But there comes a point when their wardrobes demand functionality, over cuteness. With both of my babies, that point came around the time that they turned 6 months. My adorably sleepy babies, who once stayed in one place, became wiggly, wriggly little monsters. Along with their newfound superpower of movement, came their ability to remove socks, bows, hats, shoes, and just about anything else I attempted to put on them.
What’s a mom to do when she wants to put shoes on her little one? In the winter, we want to keep those little toesies as warm as can be. And then what do we do when they become mobile? Shoes aid in stability for crawlers and walkers. And don’t even get me started on losing shoes while out in public. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve gone on a scavenger hunt in the grocery store, in search of a lost shoe.
Leather Baby Moccasins
The answer is all my troubles is: leather baby moccasins. The elastic ankle cuffs on moccasins actually keep the shoes on baby. Not to mention, the soft leather is super comfortable and easy to care for. Baby Pasoan makes some of my favorite styles for Audrey. The designs are super cute; it’s hard to pick just one pair!
Baby Pasoan is currently having a sale – all of their moccasins are on sale for $29.99. It’s really a steal, considering how much wear your child will get out of them. And the quality is superb, making them the perfect hand-me-down candidates.
