Support PPD with #howsmama

If you haven’t read about my #howsmama challenge yet, you can do so here.  I’m proud to announce that now you can do more to support the initiative.

I’ve created a line of products that are for sale on TeeSpring for the next week.  For each #howsmama item that you purchase, 25% of the profits will benefit The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Together, we can help mothers experiencing postpartum depression.  Together, we can erase the stigma.  Together, we can do better.

  1. I lost my Mother 5 years ago to suicide. I am a huge supporter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I suffer from anxiety and depression and also dealt with PPD after the birth of my daughter. I am so glad you are doing this #HowsMama initiative. It is so important to end the stigma surrounding all mental illnesses. Thank you for speaking out.

    1. I am so sorry that you lost your mother in such a horrific way, Kiley. This is why we must make a difference and end the stigma. <3

  2. This is such a needed movement. PPD is something we often feel ashamed of and have a hard time finding support with. Thank you for starting the conversation.

    1. It’s something that I learned the hard way that is nothing to be ashamed of. The more we talk about it, the less shame there will be. 🙂
