The Easter season is upon us and if you haven’t started thinking about stuffing those baskets, now’s the time to do so. As the parent of a child with allergies, you may have noticed that I like to come up with non-food ideas for each holiday. Easter is no exception. Not only do I try to avoid food treats, but I also strive to fill my kids’ baskets with meaningful, memorable treasures.
In addition to the classic springtime trinkets (bubbles, sand toys, chalk, jump ropes, etc.), this year I decided to go with a personalized theme. I went straight to two of my favorite companies: I See Me! Books and Smiling Tree Toys.
I See Me! has the cutest collection of books for kids of all ages, with a variety of interests. I had no problem picking out a dinosaur egg hunt book for Jackson, and an adorable snuggle bunny book (with matching stuffed bunny!) for Audrey.
The last day to order an I See Me! book for guaranteed Easter delivery is April 9th. You can find special offers and discounts here.
The gorgeous wooden puzzles I have included in this year’s baskets are from Smiling Tree Toys. They have the most beautiful wooden educational toys. We’ve been working with Jackson on spelling his name, so I chose a personalized “JACKSON” puzzle for him. For Audrey, I went with this darling animal board puzzle.
Smiling Tree orders ship within 10 days of purchase.
